PenFed is hiring a Learning and Talent Development Specialist (Remote). The primary function of this role is to develop and maintain relevant learning metrics, provide insights on metrics through formal reporting and presentation, act as administrator for the LMS (learning management system) for HR learning and functional learning teams, provide logistical support for learning events, and manage document retention and storage for learning materials. This position is remote, and candidate can be located anywhere in the United States. Compensation range: $41,300 - $78,150 Eligible for scorecard bonus Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Manage centralized LMS functions and reporting for enterprise and functional learning. Curation of learning materials and modules. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of operating policies and procedures and PenFed products and services. Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and programs effectiveness through data analysis. Provide logistical support for onsite and offsite learning events, and assist in the coordination of on-the job training for employees. Periodically facilitate vILT (virtual, instructor led) and classroom learning sessions. Survey learning needs, analyze information obtained, submit recommendations and make changes to online learning modules and/or classroom learning programs. Participate in the establishment of relationships with vendors and acts as facilitator for available learning sessions and materials. Maintain records, reports and logs to conform to compliance regulations and company policy and procedures. Adhere to confidentiality of employee information. Participate in developing overall department goals, objectives, systems, and controlling costs. Periodically perform in positions for which others are trained in order to maintain current knowledge of techniques and duties required. Assist in the evaluation of reports, decisions and results of the HR department in relation to established goals. May provide input on HRIS projects to include research on delivered systems, design, development, data collection, testing requirements and recommendations for implementation. Identify employees’ needs through data collection, observation, employee feedback and discussions with managers and staff. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the learning area in particular and for the HR department in general. Manage HR Learning and Talent Development email traffic; constructing responses and redirecting where appropriate. *This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity. Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Learning & Development or a related field is required. Minimum of three (3) years’ of experience in training is required. Supervisory Responsibility This position will not supervise employees. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise. Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds. Travel Interstate Travel (10%) to various worksites may be required.
