PenFed is hiring a Senior Analyst, Card Transformation at our Omaha, Nebraska location. The primary purpose of this job is to support the Card Transformation analysis efforts to ensure business areas are processing activities in an optimal manner, identify opportunities for simplification, eliminate duplication of efforts, and assess appropriate balance of risk and control. This position will establish operational objectives and work plans as well as apply knowledge of many disciplines including Business Process Analysis, Performance Benchmarking, Change Management, Project Management, Risk Management/Control and Rationalization Techniques. Support the execution of the Card Transformation program roadmap consisting of cross-functional activities and projects, and drive execution milestone deliverables with adherence to budget and business measures. Support the execution of projects to optimize all elements of the card organization including but not limited to: Business Process Modernization, Shared Services Implementation, Business Case Development, Finance Automation, Internal Control Development, Finance Technology Selection, Implementation & Deployment Lead efforts to translate business needs into comprehensive technical requirements, reconciling requirement conflicts and gaining collective buy in throughout. Proactively engage and collaborate with functional leaders, process owners, system users, and business leadership across the company to ensure that assessment, requirements-gathering, design, and implementation activities are developed, implemented, and validated with stakeholder input. Define and develop project plans, track action items, issues, and risks including follow up on items with appropriate parties to ensure their resolution and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion Provide expert knowledge to change consultants and support the change management elements of the finance transformation to ensure that the changes are sustainable throughout the organization. Identify opportunities to apply process automation as well as advanced technology and data management technologies. Work closely with multiple third-party vendors to coordinate required development and deployment of system enhancements across all platforms, systems, and vendors. Serve as liaison between the business development teams and technology on an ongoing basis, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PenFed’s process improvement initiatives. Design, direct, and/or perform user acceptance testing for Payment Services system and interface changes to include business approval for final release. Support the development of metrics associated with core projects to support management, financial and regulatory reporting. Analyze data gathered from multiple sources to reconcile differences. Apply consistent approach to data interpretation and performance measurement results. Work multiple projects concurrently and effectively prioritize work when project scope or business focus changes. Maintain a log of risks and issues with resolution options and timelines, informing the business customer appropriately and escalating where necessary. Support the development of documentation, procedures, and applicable training materials for new departmental processes. Prepare presentations and memos for stakeholders and team members. Provide guidance to ensure that improvements to policies, processes, and systems conform to internal controls, and/or any other applicable regulatory requirement Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business or Project Management or related field is required. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Card Operations and production environments is required, specifically Fiserv’s Optis and STAR NE platform. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Project Management is required, specifically managing the implementation of cross-functional team activities Fiserv systems experience desired. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to understand the business processes and data. Ability to discuss relevant issues/concepts effectively with other professionals and non-technical users. Knowledge of project management methodology, processes, tools, scope management, financial tracking, scheduling, and resource management. Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and implement changes in project direction. Experience in the development of deliverables and reports and ability to condense highly technical subject matter into clear and effective communications. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and organizational skills required with ability to work with all management levels. Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.
