PenFed is hiring a Remote Mortgage Marketing Data and Analytics Director at one of the following locations: McLean, Virginia; San Antonio, Texas; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; West Islip, New York; Astoria, New York. The primary purpose of this position is to lead a center of excellence for marketing data and analytics, driving revenue and profitability for the business through effective data management, insights, analytics, and reporting. This position will be responsible for leading a team and overseeing the ideation, development and implementation of a marketing data warehouse and framework, market research, analytics, data visualization, dashboarding, tracking and reporting of KPI’s, and campaign optimization. This leader will deliver strategies to promote future growth, innovation, and increased member engagement using data, including AI tools and marketing automation. They will also be responsible for ensuring data integrity throughout the entire marketing funnel and member lifecycle and will play an integral role in planning, budgeting, and optimizing marketing and business development strategies. * This position is available remotely within 100 miles of job location * Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Lead a team focused on optimizing business results through analytics and the use of data. Partner with Marketing Directors, Finance, Secondary Markets, Operations, Servicing, and each line of business to lead member insights and research – both qualitative and quantitative. Define and oversee full data and analytic lifecycle from impression-to-closed loan and beyond to servicing to improve business profitability and member satisfaction. Manage periodic and ongoing research initiatives to support, validate and define customer segmentation, competitive positioning, department/category strategies and other business needs. Oversee the use and acquisition of 1st and 3rd party data for analysis, research, strategy development and campaign execution. Oversee the creation and maintenance of a marketing data warehouse and infrastructure. Implement change control and data definition procedures to ensure on-going data integrity. Define the framework and build requirements to develop our marketing automation and AI capabilities: namely increasing personalization through technology, methods, automation, and infrastructure in partnership with product analysts, IT, and other data management teams to support long-term business growth. Drive strategy development, innovation, and the planning process through organized and effective analytics, insights gathering, and financial modeling. Actively follow industry trends and ensure team is assessing, and strategically acting on, platform and landscape changes as they occur. Plan, organize and implement studies to determine the Return on Investment (ROI) and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Create innovative data visualizations (e.g., tableau dashboards, interactive charts, info graphics, etc.) that translate complex data into clear, concise takeaways. This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor's Degree required in Marketing, Research, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Business Analytics. Master’s Degree or MBA preferred. Minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience in Marketing Data Analytics and/or Data Science. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in management, preferably in a financial services environment. Proven track record of improving business results through data analysis and the application of data to marketing and business development processes. Ability to lead complex data solutions projects and work closely with the IT/UX team to create viable solutions for the marketing department and member experience. Prior experience successfully leading data warehouse implementations. Knowledge of artificial intelligence, big data, research methods and techniques, statistical and other methods used in the analysis and projection of data, survey methods, marketing automation, and analytical techniques. Ability to plan, direct, and advise others on highly complex and sensitive projects and prepare and present technical reports Strong written and verbal communication skills; high degree of proficiency in synthesizing and communicating data from a variety of disciplines. Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and manage priorities. Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation solutions systems including Salesforce, Google Analytics, Adobe Campaign and Adobe Cloud services. Knowledge of Tableau, Microsoft Office products and other graphics or presentation software; familiarity with statistical software desirable. Knowledge and experience within the financial services industry. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise. *Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds. * Travel Ability to travel to various worksites, industry events, and be on-call is required.
