PenFed is hiring a Director, Channel Marketing (Remote) at one of the following locations: Tysons, Virginia; San Antonio, Texas; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; West Islip, New York, or Astoria, New York. The primary role of this position is to lead B2B and B2B2C marketing for PenFed’s Retail, Correspondent, and Wholesale Home Loans distribution channels. This position will be responsible for overseeing the ideation, development and implementation of marketing campaigns, analytics, and targeting strategies to maximize loan growth, revenue, and channel engagement. This position will lead a team to optimize marketing and channel engagement campaign performance and Return on Investment. In addition, this position will make recommendations to promote revenue growth, brand awareness and member engagement. Lead a team focused on executing B2B marketing campaigns to build awareness and engage referral sources and clients for the Retail, Correspondent, and Wholesale distribution channels. Implement marketing and demand generation campaigns needed to achieve volume and revenue objectives for all mortgage and home equity products sold through PenFed Home Loans’ B2B channels including: VA mortgages, FHA mortgages, Conforming mortgages, Jumbo mortgages, and HELOCs. Partner with Sales leadership, Marketing Directors, Corporate Marketing, and product teams to optimize campaigns, meet loan volume objectives and maximize ROI. Define and implement communications and lead generation strategies to be deployed by Retail Loan Officers, and the Correspondent and Wholesale Sales Teams. Manage the creation of marketing materials and campaign automation using marketing automation, CRM, and web-based tools. Lead regular sales enablement sessions to maximize the effectiveness of Retail Loan Officers and Sales teams. Define and oversee full prospect lifecycle, including nurturing campaigns, to improve referral source and client engagement. Partner with the Director of Lead Acquisition and Management to support the implementation of behavioral based marketing campaigns, including triggers, lead acquisition, and lead nurturing. Partner with Growth Initiatives, Marketing Ops, Content Marketing, and Channel Marketing teams to execute campaigns and new strategies. Successfully manage and influence Centralized Corporate Marketing partners and external vendors to execute marketing strategies and campaigns on behalf of the Home Loans Marketing Team. Manage periodic and ongoing research initiatives to support, validate and define customer segmentation, competitive positioning, department/category strategies and other business needs. Oversee implementation of marketing automation tools to support channel marketing strategies. Oversee implementation of a web-based platform for retail loan officers and sales team to order communications materials and branded merchandise for local marketing. Plan and implement effective events in support of Retail, Correspondent and Wholesale, Including communications materials, on-site and pre-event promotion, post event follow-up, and metrics reporting. Actively follow industry trends and ensure team is assessing, and strategically acting on, competitive and market changes as they occur. Plan, organize and implement changes to optimize the Return on Investment (ROI) and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Lead the creation of innovative creative assets, messaging, and awareness campaigns that effectively engage prospects and increase brand equity in targeted markets. *This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity. * Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor's Degree required in Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or Business Analytics. Master’s Degree or MBA preferred. Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in Marketing, with a minimum of three (3) years in a B2B marketing environment. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in management, preferably in a financial services environment. Proven track record of implementing successful B2B marketing campaigns and a current knowledge of B2B marketing techniques and tools. Proven track record of improving sales through effective sales enablement. Knowledge of common mortgage technology tools such as Total Expert, Velocify, and Encompass. Prior experience with marketing automation and CRM tools such as Total Expert, Adobe, and Salesforce. Knowledge of content marketing, digital marketing, event marketing, email marketing and other methods used to engage prospects in a B2B marketing environment. Ability to plan, direct and advise others on highly complex and sensitive projects and prepare and present technical reports Strong written and verbal communication skills; high degree of proficiency in synthesizing and communicating data from a variety of disciplines. Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and manage priorities. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other graphics or presentation software; familiarity with statistical software desirable. Knowledge and experience within the financial services industry, preferably with an emphasis on mortgage or real estate. Supervisory Responsibility This position will supervise employees. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise. *Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds. * Travel Ability to travel to various worksites, industry events, and be on-call is required.
