PenFed is hiring a Director, Cards Digital Product Management (Remote) at our Tysons, Virginia location. The Primary purpose of this position is to lead the ongoing digital transformation of PenFed’s card solutions to drive the development and delivery of new solutions, features, and experiences. Provide end-to-end leadership of complex cross functional teams to improve and create new card based digital-first solutions through all phases of the product/feature lifecycle including: concept, development, delivery, launch, adoption, enhancement, and performance. The Director, Card Products Digital Product Management will be a thought leader on the card team for the overall consumer card product vision and lead solution feature research, design, development, testing and commercialization. This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of job duties and the position will perform other duties as assigned. Develop and lead the ongoing digital transformation roadmap for cards. Successfully manage, develop, and execute highly visible, innovative, complex, critical, and strategic digital solutions drive card transactions and retention while mitigating risk and back office operational expenses. Provide card leadership and vision to large cross functional initiatives inclusive of Technology, User Experience, Credit, Legal, Operations, Fraud and Compliance to ensure new digital experiences and solutions are designed and implemented as part a of holistic, best in class cardholder experience. Lead the Card Digital Management Team in the development of all business and experience requirements including cardholder journeys and functional requirements. Be the subject matter expert (SME) for card features, functions and experiences including policies, operations, and technologies integral to delivering enhancement solutions. Identify and lead the definition, development, and implementation of member experience journeys across channels (web, mobile, mobile wallet, call centers) optimizing cardholder digital engagement to drive top of wallet placement, reduce attrition and card related operational expenses. Establish a shared vision across the organization for the infrastructure to support a member-centered digital design solution roadmap and implement new technologies to support new card features and experiences. Lead small and large engagements with IT, User Experience, Marketing, third party partners, Operations, Compliance, Fraud and Finance in the holistic evaluation, management, and execution of digital-first card initiatives. Identify end-to-end opportunities that will position PenFed as an ongoing leader in digital-first card account solutions. Keep abreast of current and future trends in card products and digital experiences. Analyze the competitive market to identify and priorities key strategies. Stay connected to the industry and with strategic business partners Prioritize initiatives to drive business improvement and manage strategic initiatives. Be a critical stakeholder in driving the digital card strategy and vision. Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Minimum 12 years in card schemes, card network processing and/or digital infrastructure card services/solutions Minimum of five (5) years of experience with consumer card products (Credit and Debit) 5+ years of program management experience with card related digital solutions/technologies Demonstrated experience creating, developing, and launching effective digital strategies Strong user-centric consumer approach with firm technology experience solutions Expertise and experience in defining and building out program strategies and roadmaps Proven ability to address and persuade multiple constituencies including senior executives Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, engineering, finance, or related field required. Master’s Degree in Business is preferred. Supervisory Responsibility This position will supervise employees. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise. Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds. Travel Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call is required.
