PenFed is hiring a Wholesale Lending Platform Manager at our Jacksonville, Florida location. The primary purpose of this job is to partner with the Wholesale Lending Management team to determine long- and short-term system strategies with a focus on driving loan volume from the Wholesale clients as well as achieving operational efficiencies to reduce costs. This ensures the Wholesale Lending Channel meets the needs of our clients, our internal users, and business partners all while aligned with company goals. This role is the liaison with business leaders and users within Wholesale Lending and key business partners including the IT department, Change Management, Compliance, Legal, Secondary Marketing, Credit, Risk, Quality Control, and others for all Correspondent systems related initiatives. Manage all aspects of implementing systems updates, including the Wholesale Lending Loan Origination System and other systems, for our internal and client users, including, but not limited to, designing system updates, writing business requirements, leading testing efforts and overall ensuring successful and on-time implementations of multiple projects at a time. Responsible for documenting the desired enhancements and/or modifications to current systems platform to include process functionality, internal user interfaces, client experience, and web presence. Manages cross-functional resources and stakeholders throughout the system implementation to ensure projects are successfully implemented and delivered on time. These cross-functional resources include, but are not limited to, Wholesale Operations, QA, UAT, Compliance/Legal, etc. Monitors status of projects, works with others to address issues raised, prepares reports regarding status of projects and communicates project changes to ensure proper execution and escalation. Leads test plan creation, review and approvals in addition to leading the execution of the business line test plans and test cases. Manages the business UAT testing of releases, including review and validation of test results, while coordinating testing efforts with IT QA and CMO UAT to ensure complete and efficient testing by all parties. Serves as a key troubleshooting point of contact for internal users when day-to-day questions arise and ensures the issues are adequately researched and support tickets are created appropriately. Serves as the Wholesale liaison with the Enterprise Vendor Management Office (EVMO) and interfaces with key external vendors regarding any enhancements and system issues. Participates in post-implementation monitoring, evaluation, and support. This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity. Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Ten (10) years in the Financial Services industry or bachelor’s degree Five (5) years of the mortgage banking experience Two (2) years of experience conducting needs analyses and writing business requirements in a residential lending environment Three (3) years of experience working in a Business Analyst/Project Manager role with proven system implementation/support results or UAT experience Three (3) years of experience working with Wholesale/Correspondent Lending systems Strong technical aptitude with knowledge of the IT field and computer systems used in Wholesale/Correspondent Lending. Proven leadership skills including the ability to effectively communicate systems changes, share knowledge, escalate issues and lead platform updates to successful implementation. Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills including troubleshooting abilities to get to the source of any problems and thinking critically regarding possible solutions. Strong ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities, and appropriately prioritize. Seeks opportunities to improve the clients and internal user systems experience and then effectively translates those opportunities into technical specifications. Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and be able to react quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment. Work seamlessly within a team as well as displaying initiative, working independently, and being able to use extensive independent judgment. Ability to create technical documentation to describe implementation of business specifications Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Supervisory Responsibility This position will directly supervise employees Licenses and Certifications N/A Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.
