PenFed is hiring a Supervisor, Cash Management at our Frisco, Texas location. The primary purpose of this job is to be responsible for supervising the overall daily activities of the Cash Management/Payment Processing team to ensure timely and accurate completion of team responsibilities relating to PenFed, payment posting and daily balancing activities. Function as the subject matter expert in industry standards and practices, utilize that knowledge to complete and assist Cash Management Specialists with all payment-processing scenarios and maintain excellent. Initiate improvement projects, identify new ideas and coordinate with team for identifying and developing new ideas to management Collaborate with management on all training and education activities as they pertain to system-wide quality, improvements, and workflow initiatives. Conduct training and education activities as they pertain to system-wide quality, improvements, and workflow initiatives with team. Responsible for partnering with organizational risk to protect the assets of the organization; partner with Operational Effectiveness Management (OEM) and others to deliver timely and accurate responses to external inquiries Assist with the maintenance of all relevant policies and procedures and ensure all controls are followed. Organize the production of the work, training and resources needed to accomplish desired and required outcomes to meet objectives on designated tasks. Provide employees with guidance, direction, mentoring and support, allocate available resources appropriately as needed. Develop effective reporting and executive communication, incorporating appropriate frequency and level of detail Work with current vendors and potential vendors to constantly enhance the ways in which customers may remit payments; manage relationships with said vendors to ensure Service Level Agreements are defined and enforced Function as a “change-agent”, supporting change initiatives within the organization Collaborate with manager to evaluate and interpret departmental/functional financial results and identify opportunities for improvement as needed This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity. Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience preferred. Minimum of six (6) years of mortgage banking experience required Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred Experience with mortgage cash management required Superior verbal/written skills with the ability to communicate effectively to employees as well as members. Strong technical skills. Innovative, analytical, and creative with solutions to challenging situations. Exercises sound judgment when interacting with employees and members. Supervisory Responsibility This position will directly supervise employees Licenses and Certifications There are no additional certifications required. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise. Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds. Travel Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call may be required.
